Not only can the deal jackets be submitted electronically without shipping costs and for quicker funding, but it is also electronically verified prior submission ensuring that no documents, signatures, or initials are missing. An electronic deal jacket provides better customer experience and is easier to store and searchable for future audits. However, the rate of adoption is highly impacted by state regulation or lender requirements, which could favor wet-signature over digital and consequently reduce the return-on-investment of Digital/eContracting applications.
